Hotel Kaiser - Berlin

* Spacious room, excellent location, clean daily, convenient U-Bahn

* Basic breakfast selection, no air conditioning, some noise from upstairs

The restaurant food is great, and the breakfast offered is savoury with joghurt, sausages plus fresh fruit. The staff are helpful and ready to help if you need anything.

Very big room with wide windows. Nice neighborhood, very close to Sophie- charlottenburgplatz underground station, on the useful u2 line. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Could reach the ICC-fair center by foot through a very pleasant park on the lakeside, just 10 minutes.

No air conditioning can be a problem in summer since the hotel is on the upper floor and can get really hot. Some noise from the street if you need to keep the window open, otherwise no problem.

great access to parks and historic sites

I loved hownice and neat my room was, and the prime spot right next to the Sophie-Charlotte-Platz station made it so easy to access the city's main attractions and beautiful parks like Lietzensee, perfect for a relaxing stroll.

The room was clean, it was excellent value for money, the room was unexpectedly nice for such a low price. Shampoo, towels, shower gel and breakfast were provided- the breakfast is also pretty good. It's located on the 5th and 6th floor, but there's a lift up to it. There's always someone at the reception and they even tried to help me with my enquiries about which train to take to the airport. Though it's 25 minutes away from the town, there is a castle to visit nearby and the tube takes you directly into the centre- you don't have to change tube line.

No toothpaste was provided in the hotel room, it's slightly far out from the centre (Alexanderplatz is the centre, it takes roughly about 25 minutes to get there by tube, direct on one line). Nothing huge.

Nice clear room, wonderful breakfast. Cheerful service speaking some languages. Best place to stay in Berlin, near U-bahn station.

Nice, clean and spacious room with a functional bathroom. Metro stop nearby made exploring easy, and there are tons of restaurants around. I was allowed an early check-in, super helpful.

Room was very clean, enough space, easy access to airport (by direct bus) and to the ciry (subway)

Ugly entrance resembling block of flats rather than hotel and lack of lobby space to meet with visitors. Long code to enter before start of using Internet while it is not likely that the bandwidth will be stolen. At least 2D code picture could be provided to ease it.

My room was massive and so comfy, I just wanted to sleep all day! Plus, the staff were lekker helpful-no hassles with my bag before check-in. Location's ideal near U-bahn and beautiful park just a stroll away.

Brekkie was a bit basic-could use more variety, especially fresh fruit!

Fairly clean hotel, greatly enjoyed to be right by many restaurants of different cuisines as well as the zoo thanks to great location. All of the staff members were very polite and pleasant. The stay was fairly nice.

Nothing - all good

I woudl ve been impressed if only the internet worked . Instead, i had to use my phone as a hotspot, how quaint. The bathroom had an awful smell, which i kindly reported but was ignored. Honestly, i nearly wrote a glowing review but the lack of special treatment left me disappointed.

The entry is rather obscure. It took me some time to discover how to open the door. After finding out, the hotel was ok.

I really loved everything about Hotel Kaiser: the spacious rooms with large windows and morning sunlight, the abundant and healthy breakfast buffet and the really friendly staff, always with a smile. Did I mention that the wireless internet is superbly fast and free of charge? For me Hotel Kaiser is a must come back!
